Brazier Moths create a special flammable liquid in their abdomen, which seeps out through specially evolved spiracles and ignites on contact with air. This is believed to be a defence against predators; regardless, it seems to do no damage to the moths themselves, which are covered in a fine fireproof dust which is shed from their hard-wearing wings.

Moths that feast on books, art or other paper that has been meaningfully marked by dragons or beastclans sometimes show dramatic metamorphoses. This rare magical variant is under constant threat of extinction despite conservation efforts due to vengeful archivists.

These happy little moths love to be in the sun, thriving in warm light, but do enjoy the occasional rain. They mostly make their home in fields of berries, but will squeak when touched as to not be confused for an actual berry. Created by Tiaqua & Mahesha
